Would You Accept 40% from your Husband or Wife? Why is it ok in Service?
Quite simply Automotive Dealerships look at service, after sales, parts and most importantly as an area they don't need to worry about. This is quite simply "Crazy". Most dealers are missing at least 50% of their potential service revenue and this is costing them customers.

I have worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years now and had the pleasure to work with small and large dealerships and dealer groups all over North America. One of the largest opportunities for short, medium and long term growth at automotive dealerships is retaining customers in service. The numbers I have seen in terms of retention is service are quite simply "silly". Leaving 50% to 60% of the service buisness to other dealerships, third parties is sad and just not good business.
